Metzner machines for furniture fabrication automatization not only save money and working time, they also ensure consistently high quality.
Metzner offers you various universal cutting machines with which you can cut plastic parts, decorative veneers and seals to length, drill, punch or, for example, make a contour cut. The Metzner machines automate the following tasks:
- Automated processing of decorative laminates up to 390 mm | 15 23/64" wide to size
- Automated cutting to length and on fermentation cutting of decorative and trim strips
- Fully automated cutting to length of wire and rubber
- Cutting plastic and skirting boards to length - fully automatic
The machine concepts differ significantly and can also be adapted precisely to your processes.
Universal cutting machine Metzner Variocut
The concept of the Metzner Variocut is explained very simply: so-called recipes define as to how the material will be processed. The operator inserts the material or it comes from a dereeler. The material is then processed automatically as it is stored digitally. To do this, the machine applies pneumatic pressure to the inserted material. The Variocut is therefore also suitable for any solid material.
It cuts rubber, plastic and wire in maximum dimensions of 95 mm x 30 mm | 3 47/64“. There are tools for punching, shearing and drawing cuts, which can be changed extremely easily. It goes without saying that the machine recognizes whether the operator has inserted the correct tool for the task. The Variocut’s software can also be adapted to your processes if required.
Universal cutting machine Metzner ST-OB
The Metzner ST-OB is also a universal cutting machine. However, it differs fundamentally from the Variocut. Firstly, the pressure that the machine exerts on the material can be very finely adjusted. When it comes to automation in the furniture industry, this is a benefit in kitchen construction with its wide range of sealing applications. On the other hand, the Metzner ST-OB works just as fully automatically as you would expect. But, the skilled operator can – but does not have to – influence the process. The Metzner ST-OB cuts rubber, plastic, wire, cable and silicone in the dimensions 150 mm x 30 mm | 5 29/32” x 1 3/16“. The cylinder specially manufactured for this extremely durable and robust machine works precisely and can develop a great deal of power. It makes a maximum of 150 high-precision cuts per minute.
All parameters are of course adjustable and programmable. The tools for punch, shear, pull and blade cutting can also be changed quickly and easily. What’s more, the ST-OB’s software can be adapted to your needs.
Modulare cutting machine Metzner MBS
The Metzner MBS is a complete modular system that gives you a choice of around 10,000 possible combinations.The Metzner MBS is available for material up to 100 mm | 3 15/16” wide, up to 200 mm | 7 7/8” wide and up to 390 mm | 15 23/64” wide.Countless knives, drills and punching units are available.Two tools can be used simultaneously in each machine. Tools can be changed quickly and easily and can also be reordered. Metzner can also supply customized tools..
The MBS cuts rubber, plastic, foils, laminates, decorations, wire, cable and even silicone. Each machine can also be adapted to your requirements. This also applies to the pre- and post-processing solutions.
