Metzner DRC Series
Feed-in of coiled goods such as corrugated tubes or tubes with low tensile sensitivity
Metzner DRC dereelers are suitable for feed-in of winding materials such as corrugated tubes or tubes with low tensile sensitivity. In connection with a feed-in device or a conveyor belt, the coiled materials are fed to the processing machine.
The "DRC 1" series offers feed-in solutions for different diameter sizes. Corrugated tube coils, tube and cable rings can be unwound without any problems up to an outer diameter of 1000 mm. The pull-off force is adjusted with a mechanical brake so that the dereeler cannot run after it. The centre of the unwinding device is optimally adapted to the respective core diameter of the material rings by means of adjustable brackets and supports trouble-free dereeling.
The dereelers of the "DRC 1 series" are available in two versions: as stand-alone units and integrated into the production line (see application photo below).

Passive cable dereelers of the Metzner DRC series offer a simple and cost-effective solution for the feed-in of corrugated conduit and coiled cable bundles.

With adjustable dereeler brake
The dereelers are equipped as standard with adjustable unwind brake (mechanical or electrical).
For materials that are not susceptible to tension
The DRC series is suitable for tension-resistant coils, rings, coils and reels.
Motorised or passive
The motorised or passive DRC dispensers are suitable for the feeding of coiled tubes and plastic pipes.
Stand-alone or integrated in the machine
The DRC cable unwinder is available as standard as a standalone unit or integrated into the machine and can be combined with a contact-free loop control.
