Cable pot winder without synchronous control

Cable pot winders without synchronous control are a less expensive alternative to devices equipped with synchronous control and are preferably used for cable wires without tensile sensitivity.

When cable processing starts, a signal from the processing machine starts the rotation of the winding device and stops it after the cable has been finished. A further signal regulates the filling of the next cable into the second winding device while the first cable is being removed from the first winding device.

The cable ring winder Metzner CPC 200 is suitable for cable wires with an outer diameter of up to 12.5 mm. The pot outer diameter is available in multiple versions from 160 mm to 600 mm; the core diameter is adjustable in the range from 140 mm to 260 mm.

The cable ring winder Metzner CPC 400 processes flexible cable wires into cable rings with an outer diameter of up to 400 mm. For small diameters and short cable lengths, four pots can be used.

The speed is regulated continuously via a potentiometer while the rotation of the pots is triggered by a signal from the cable processing machine: After a cable has been cut to length, the pot continues rotating until the end of the cable and then receives the impulse to turn. The height of the pots can be selected and can therefore be easily adjusted to the required fill level.

The cable ring winders can be employed for all commercially available cable processing machines.

The cable ring winders are available with either two or four pots, which are automatically changed at the end of the cable.

The changeover to other winding pots can be done in a very short time.

The inlet height and the speed are infinitely adjustable.

An electrical or mechanical connection to the cutting machine is not necessary.
