Versatile Showpiece
The special feature of the Metzner CCM 4: the circular cutting machine handles both wet and dry cutting. Depending on the type of cut, the CCM 4 is equipped with a water-cooling lubrication system or micro-knife moistening and preparation for suction. The standard model comes with an integrated discharge conveyor (800 mm length); application range both in-line and off-line.
Process-safe material processing
The rotating circular knife creates the ideal conditions for cutting through rubber, plastic and metal and, in combination with other parameters such as optimum material guidance, knife speed, knife rotation direction, knife feed and knife moistening, produces a first-class cutting result. Wide range of applications
The circular cutting machine can be employed in production both in-line and off-line. The Gasket model also provides the cutting of flat gaskets without the use of support mandrels.
Profile clamp
The profile clamp ensures optimum fixing of the plastic profile during the cut. This decreases the chance of the profile being distorted. The profile clamp also allows complex profile contours to be cut at a very high cutting quality.
Cutting out defective areas
With automatic quality control, this option provides an independent waste cut for faulty material areas and prevents the processing of parts that do not meet the specification.
Water cooling lubrication system
The Metzner CCM 4 is equipped with a cooling lubrication system or micro-spray system as standard. Thanks to the closed water circuit, the cutting quality of steel-reinforced profiles is significantly increased and chips and solids are filtered out.
Intelligent gap detection
The optional gap detection system positions the cut exactly in the gap of the metal carrier, thus ensuring a burr-free cut for steel-reinforced profiles. This improves the cutting quality and the service life of the circular knife.
