Metzner KL-BV: Specially designed for pressure-sensitive material
Metzner designed the KL-BV to meet the requirements of medical technology for processing silicone tubing. With these genes, the machine has also proven itself with manufacturers of filling systems for beverages and food.
At the heart of the concept are the knives, whose width starts at 0.1 mm | 0.004″. In addition, they enter the material at an angle from above, so that crushing of the hose is reduced to an absolute minimum. Of course, the angle can be adjusted to the hose thickness. The belt feed can be reduced so that particularly short pieces of hose can be used immediately and without reworking.
The Metzner KL-BV processes materials up to 18 mm | 45/64” in diameter with up to 330 cuts per minute. It is of course also available in stainless steel.
Metzner MBS: there is a solution for you among the 10,000 possible combinations
The Metzner MBS is an extremely large modular system, consisting of both the machine and a very large number of tools. The machine is also available in three sizes for material up to 100 mm | 3 15/16” wide, 200 mm | 7 7/8” wide and 390 mm 1′ 3 23/64” wide. Of particular interest to manufacturers of beverage filling systems and food filling systems is the fact that two tools can carry out their processes simultaneously in one machine. The tools can also be changed quickly and easily.
This makes the MBS very versatile. Tools can also be reordered and adapted. This makes the MBS a future-proof automation solution that makes it possible to produce hoses as well as plastic and rubber components to a consistently high quality.
An extremely robust universal cutting machine: Metzner ST-OB
The Metzner ST-OB cuts material up to 150 mm | 5 29/32” wide and 30 mm | 1 3/16“high. It is available with punch, shear, pull and blade cutting. Comprehensive software is of course onboard as standard. The ST-OB also comes with a unique cylinder as standard. This develops more power and speed than standard cylinders. This is precisely what makes the ST-OB so versatile. In addition, the skilled operator can set the pressure extremely precisely.
