However, you should pay close attention to the material: Moistening the blade helps with cooling, for example, as a metal reinforcement naturally heats up faster and more intensively than rubber. There are also machines that recognize gaps in the metal reinforcement and apply the cut there to avoid burr formation.

How to process rigid materials automatically?

Rigid material has the special feature that it cannot sag. This slows down automatic processes. If it is to be cut, for example, production stops for a few seconds. That is not what we want. The solution to this is machines with a traveling head. The blade moves with the rigid material and cuts it during the transport process.
