Metzner KL-BV: Specially designed for silicone and other pressure-sensitive material

Metzner designed the KL-BV especially for the processing of silicone tubes. The first part of the concept are the knives, whose width starts at just 0.1 mm | 0.004″. In addition, they enter the material at an angle from above, so that crushing of the hose is reduced to an absolute minimum. Of course, the angle can be adjusted to the hose thickness. Furthermore, the belt feed can be reduced so that particularly short pieces of hose can be used immediately and without reworking. The Metzner KL-BV processes materials up to 18 mm | ⁴⁵/₆₄” in diameter with up to 330 cuts per minute. It is of course also available in stainless steel.

Metzner MBS: the standard machine with 10,000 possible combinations

The Metzner MBS is a modular system, consisting of both the machine and a very large number of tools. This machine is also available in three sizes for material up to 100 mm | 3 ¹⁵/₁₆” wide, 200 mm | 7 ⁷/₈” wide and 390 mm 1′ 3 ²³/₆₄” wide. The number of standard tools already developed is huge and covers virtually every type of cutting to length, drilling, punching and slitting. Furthermore, two tools can carry out their processes simultaneously in one machine. The tools can also be changed quickly and easily. Tools can also be reordered and adapted. This makes the MBS a future-proof automation solution that makes it possible to produce hoses as well as plastic and rubber components to a consistently high quality.

An extremely robust universal cutting machine: Metzner ST-OB

The Metzner ST-OB is available with punch, shear, pull and blade cutting. It cuts nearly every material up to 150 mm |5 ²⁹/₃₂ wide and 30 mm | 1 ³/₁₆“high. Of course, a complete software package is onboard as standard. The ST-OB also comes with a unique cylinder as standard. This develops more power and speed than standard cylinders.
